The students call me Mr. B. My real name is Danny Joe Butler. I grew up over in Littlefield. My parents are Wayne and Helen Butler. I had an older brother named Jimmy. I graduated from Littlefield High School a while back. From high school, I went to Texas Tech University and graduated with a B.B.A. in Business Management. Later, I went back to Tech and earned a Business Teaching Certificate and a Computer Teaching Certificate. My first teaching job was at Three Way ISD. I taught there for four years. I have now been here at Cotton Center ISD for twenty-one years. I teach business and computer subjects. I have the best subjects of all. The students love computers.
My wife's name is Janine. We have been married for 36 years. Janine is the City Secretary for Littlefield. We have two boys, Jackson and Stephen. They both attended and graduated from Cotton Center High School. Jackson is married and lives in Levelland. He works for Lufkin Automation. He attends South Plains College in Levelland and will graduate in May 2011.
In my spare time, I like to golf and fish. I have enjoyed teaching at Cotton Center ISD. Come by and visit me, and I will let you try-out one of the school's new computers.
